Why are some instruments expensive?

Timbre is a concept that means 'color of sound' and is an element that allows us to distinguish two sounds with the same pitch and volume. For example, the sounds of a piano and an oboe that play the same pitch can be distinguished because their timbres are different.

The frequency spectrum of the sound, the beginning and end of the sound, the vibration pattern, etc, determines timbre.
The timbre of each person is also different. So, if you are familiar with someone, you can guess that person is speaking on the phone.
Even for musical instruments, there are slight differences in timbre, which can significantly affect the instrument's price.
