Try assembling an atom

Freely combine protons, neutrons, and electrons to create your own atom.

Notes

  • This simulation only provides tools for building atomic models and does not determine whether the completed atomic model is stable.
  • For every number of protons (atomic number), there is a range of neutron counts that allows an atom to remain stable. Atoms with an unsuitable number of neutrons undergo radioactive decay in an attempt to become more stable. This simulation does not take such effects into account.
